Hopkins commits to Kentucky and What’s Next For the Friars
Corey Floyd Jr. Virtual Visit with Cooley
It appears that Cooley is looking to go back to the well with the Floyd family, as Floyd’s father played for the Friars in the 90s.
Floyd is a talent in his own right, a top 100 recruit playing at powerhouse Roselle Catholic in New Jersey.
This will be a tough recruitment to win, but the Friars should have the familiarity going for it, alongside getting involved in this recruitment early.

Rafael Castro Deciding 11/5
Rafael tweeted out November 5th, which I presume will be the date Castro decides. We discuss the finalists here:
While we couldn’t get a good read on Castro’s decision it is Providence who seems to have emerged as the favorite, but a lot can change in a week.
Jonas Aidoo Top 10
North Carolina big man is releasing his top 10 today. Aidoo has received a slew of high major offers over the past month, in part due to his impressive performances on the AAU circuit this past summer.
We fully expect the Friars to be included in this Top 10.
We write about Aidoo here

Kuluel Mading Committing 11/14
North Carolina big man is set to pick his school of choice on November 14th. At one point, Mading was considered a favorite to land at PC. A few months have passed, and things have been radiosilent on the Mading-PC front.
With Geeter in the fold and Castro apparently choosing soon, I wonder if Mading still has the opportunity to commit to the Friars.
With Watson and Horchler having the option to come back next year, Mading could be the perfect developmental big that isn’t relied upon for 2-3 years.
