Bowen is one of the earliest offers in the 2023 class for the Providence Friars. Bowen is already 6’8 and plays at St. George’s School, a private school in Rhode Island.
Cooley and Staff excel at offering early, and this offer to a local recruit is an excellent way to get in early before other schools begin to heavily pursue Bowen.
Jonas Aidoo Adding Offers
Aidoo, the Friar big man target from North Carolina, has added offers from a couple premiere programs in Tennessee and Kansas. Providence offered a few months back after an impressive AAU weekend, and it appears other schools are following suit.
Zoom Meeting with 2022 PG Preston Murphy
Cooley and Staff recently held a Zoom call with 2022 point guard Preston Murphy Jr. Preston goes to school at St. Andrews School and is likely being pitched as taking the reigns from Bynum once Bynum graduates.
